DRT Strategies Awarded New Contract to Modernize eGrATIS at CDC

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awards DRT Strategies (DRT) the contract to replace the Immunization Services Division’s (ISD) electronic grant application tracking information system (eGrATIS). DRT’s technology expertise supports agency’s mission to implement immunization programs across the United States.

Arlington, VA – September 23, 2019 – DRT Strategies, Inc. (DRT), a leading management and technology firm, announced today that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded the company a new IT modernization contract to develop a new solution for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), Immunization Services Division’s (ISD) current electronic grant application tracking information system (eGrATIS).  State and urban health departments use eGrATIS, which was first developed in 2008, to apply for Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Section 317 Immunization Program grants.  These grants are critical in protecting the U.S. population from vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs).  The value of the IT modernization contract is $3.4 million over three years.

Specifically, DRT will work together with stakeholders at ISD to select a new technology platform and develop a new software solution which better fits the needs for current and future ISD grants management requirements.
