DRT Strategies Awarded IT Modernization Contract to Configure ServiceNow™ at USDA’s Commodity Credit Corporation

DRT Strategies (DRT) to modernize and automate requests for and apportioning of more than $67.5M to the nation’s farmers and producers via USDA’s Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC).

Arlington, VA – June 10, 2019 – DRT Strategies, Inc. (DRT), a leading management and technology firm, announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded the company a Process Improvement Streamlining Initiative – IT Modernization – contract with USDA’s Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC).  The government tasks DRT to provide end-to-end business process reengineering of all processes required to request and apportion more than $67.5M to the nation’s farmers and producers under the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Mission.  Related, DRT will configure ServiceNow™ (www.servicenow.com) as the CCC’s new automation platform.  This mission critical engagement specifically supports CCC in improving functionality, enforcing appropriate internal controls, and tracking funds.

The Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) is a government-owned and operated entity created in 1933 by the Commodity Credit Corporation Charter Act of 1939 to stabilize, support, and protect farm income and prices.  CCC was also charged with maintaining balanced and adequate supplies of agricultural commodities and to aid in the orderly distribution of those commodities.  During the last half of a fiscal year, CCC notifies USDA Agencies that act on its behalf to submit written funding requests for the upcoming fiscal year, with respect to the use of more than $67.5M in funding authorized by the CCC Charter Act.
